- Click on “GDS Result 2026 – Schedule I January”
- Select your postal circle
- Download the Merit List PDF
- Search your name or registration number using Ctrl + F
If your name appears in the list, you are shortlisted for Document Verification.
Post Office GDS Cut Off 2026 (Expected)
The cut-off is based on the minimum Class 10th percentage included in the merit list. It varies state-wise and category-wise.

Many candidates get confused because there is no written exam. Here’s the simple selection process:

Step 1: Merit List Based on Class 10 Marks
The merit list is generated automatically based on Class 10 marks. Marks are calculated up to 4 decimal places for fairness.

Step 2: Tie-Breaking Rules
If two candidates have the same marks:
- Older candidate (by Date of Birth) gets preference
- If still tied, priority order:
- ST Female → SC Female → OBC Female → EWS Female → UR Female
- Then ST Male → SC Male → OBC Male → EWS Male → UR Male
